Responsibilities

Provide computer aided design (CAD) drafting, and prepare drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketches

Coordinate and consult with engineers or other designers to complete projects, ensuring adherence to established specifications and standards

Support equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables

Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities

Present design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders

Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements

Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule

Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature

Prepare, review, and approve electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring BOMs and designs

Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables, and estimating effort required

Participate in project scoping, planning, status reporting, and scope management

Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and proactively address issues

Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
