In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical and data systems, ensuring a safe environment for facility residents.

Responsibilities
Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of the Center’s video camera, telephone, and television systems
Install and run cables, data lines, and electrical wiring using hand tools, power tools, and drills
Complete final connections between equipment, data closets, electrical supply boxes, and outlets
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize interior and exterior video recording equipment
Set up, program, troubleshoot, and repair television systems and maintain and repair telephone system infrastructure
Work safely at all times, including the use of ladders and lifts, while ensuring a safe environment for facility residents during all job tasks
Receive assignments from the paint, carpentry, grounds, and plumbing shops as needed
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports
