Responsibilities

Provide classroom and on-the-job training to inmate students attending barber school

Develop and administer the barber training program

Document inmate training progress

Ensure compliance with all policies pertaining to inmate grooming, including access to barber services

Schedule inmate students to take the Barber License test

Requisition all materials and supplies used during classroom instruction

Maintain the barber school in accordance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines

Qualification

Required

You must be in possession of an active Barber Teacher License issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Barber Examiners

Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
