Managing Director, Dual Credit Initiatives

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction for dual credit initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional goals for enrollment growth, student success, and operational effectiveness
Lead system-wide efforts to improve dual credit infrastructure, including the implementation of technology platforms to streamline enrollment, tracking, communication, and student engagement
Partner with internal departments (e.g., Enrollment Services, Academics, Student Success, Institutional Research) to coordinate high-quality, student-centered dual credit programming
Cultivate and manage relationships with K-12 school districts, community partners, and other educational entities to expand access and promote early college opportunities
Oversee operational planning, policy development, and evaluation processes to enhance the efficiency and scalability of dual credit offerings
Monitor student performance metrics and outcomes; use data insights to recommend program improvements and close performance gaps
Lead a cross-functional implementation teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement of dual credit programming
Represent the college at events and meetings with school partners, educational networks, community leaders, and policy stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and institutional policies related to dual credit instruction and enrollment
This position requires regular on-site presence to fulfill essential duties that cannot be performed remotely. Duties must be executed in-person to ensure effective collaboration, supervision, and service delivery, in accordance with Texas SB 2615

This position may be eligible for remote work only under conditions permitted by Texas SB 2615, including temporary illness, disability accommodations, or assignment to approved remote instruction programs

Required

Master's degree or higher in education, public administration, business, or a related field
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, K-12 partnerships, dual credit programs, or related areas
Official transcript required
Deep knowledge of dual credit, early college, and concurrent enrollment policies and practices
Understanding of the purpose and mission of community colleges and their role in educational equity and economic mobility
Proven leadership in large-scale program management, including strategic planning, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration
Experience using technology platforms for student recruitment, enrollment, advising, and data analysis
Ability to analyze and act upon complex data to inform decisions and drive institutional performance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences including students, families, school administrators, faculty, and external stakeholders
Knowledge of the K-16 educational pipeline and transition points critical to student success
Demonstrated ability to lead change and innovation in a complex, matrixed environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to diverse audiences

Preferred

Experience in a higher education leadership role, particularly in student success or dual credit
Proficiency in data analysis, change management, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with dual credit, P-TECH, Early College, and workforce programs
Project or program management certification
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency
