The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clerical Assistant 3 to join the Workers' Compensation Office of Adjudication. The role involves providing administrative support to Workers' Compensation Judges, including scheduling hearings, preparing court rooms, and managing case files and correspondence.

Responsibilities
Scheduling hearings and mediations
Preparing court rooms both in person and virtually for Judges prior to hearing days
Arranging for vendor services according to WCOA policy for interpreters, security guards, and court reporters
Preparing and filing documents, correspondence, and transcripts in digital and hard copy files
Typing and formatting decisions
Processing and preparing case files related to appealed decisions
Utilizing Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) to maintain a caseload, process tasks, and distribute correspondence for claims
Handling telephone inquiries regarding the status of cases and general questions from the public, attorneys, media, law enforcement, and legislators
Qualification
Required
One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
