Aide Trainee - Selinsgrove Center (1st Shift)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking compassionate individuals to join the Selinsgrove Center as Aide Trainees. In this role, you will learn the duties of a Residential Services Aide through a paid training program, where you will assist individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

Learning the duties of a Residential Services Aide
Participating in a paid in-classroom and on-the-job training program
Caring for and assisting people with Intellectual Disabilities living at the Selinsgrove Center
Completing a six-month probationary period to be promoted to a Residential Services Aide
Qualification
Required
No previous experience needed, training provided
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance
