Tourist Information Supervisor

Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of PENNDOT Welcome Centers
Ensure that your team delivers accurate and efficient information to travelers
Represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by warmly greeting and assisting visitors
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the state's highways, transportation systems, attractions, recreational areas, events, weather, accommodations, and tourist sites
Enhance public relations
Facilitate internal and external communications to optimize operations
Participate in quarterly meetings focused on events, programs, and services
Qualification
Required
One year as a Tourist Information Counselor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Two years of experience in work involving public contact; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must be able to perform essential job functions
