The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a skilled Retail Operations Manager 1 to lead the Store Performance and Data Division. Responsibilities

Managing the development and thorough analysis of essential retail performance metrics

Pinpointing areas for improvement to boost operational efficiency

Providing valuable insights that inform strategic decisions aimed at enhancing the PLCB's financial health and operational effectiveness

Conducting comprehensive analysis of various metrics, including retail sales figures, labor utilization, and inventory data, to identify trends, assess losses, and evaluate profitability

Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing store performance

Required

One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

Two years as a State Liquor Store Administrator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

Seven years of retail store experience at the manager or assistant manager level which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives

You must meet the PA residency requirement

You must be able to perform essential job functions

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
