Air Quality Engineering Trainee
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a passionate engineer to join their Air Quality program within the Department of Environmental Protection. The role involves evaluating applications for Plan Approvals and Operating Permits related to air pollution sources and preparing necessary documentation while working under the supervision of a licensed engineer.

Responsibilities
Evaluate applications for Plan Approvals and Operating Permits for air pollution sources
Make recommendations regarding approval or denial of applications to the Regional Program Manager and Environmental Engineer Manager
Prepare necessary documentation for Plan Approval and Operating Permit authorizations and other relevant correspondence
Qualification
Required
One year of engineering experience, and possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists
A bachelor's degree in the field of engineering
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
This position will require possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
