As a CNC Setup Programmer, you will provide programming and manufacturing leadership, ensuring parts are produced according to specifications while improving CNC programming processes and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Ensures safety work practices and enforces safety policies

Ensure parts are programmed and manufactured in accordance with customer specifications

Adhere to Quality System

Provides guidance on programming, tools, and tool lists to optimize production efficiencies, as well as performs programming functions for new or complex design requirements

Overall improvement organization of programs storing and recording in Predator

Set Up: Overseeing set up man, assisting existing parts set ups. First piece inspection report, adjustments, improvements

Proper S/U Training (start with set up leads). Identify current set up problems and recommend solutions

Develops, recommends, and implements improvements to the CNC programming process including machining methods, tooling, and process control strategies

Participates in PQA process for new designs and provides guidance on methods, tooling, and process controls

Oversees launch of new designs into the CNC production cells, insuring that all relevant personnel understand machining requirements and proper tooling is engaged

Recommends new equipment and equipment enhancements and insures that these capital investments are deployed properly with sufficient training to accomplish goals
