Responsibilities
Establish the cloud security framework and architecture to align with business requirements and performance objectives
Document the deployment of cloud security controls and facilitate the transition to cloud security-managed operations
Provide hands-on support to address and remediate identified security gaps within the client’s Salesforce environment
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model: Profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, org-wide defaults
Object- and field-level security, record-level access
Experience conducting Salesforce security assessments and gap analyses
Hands-on experience remediating Salesforce security issues: Misconfigurations, excessive permissions, data exposure, insecure integrations
Understanding of Salesforce Shield / security add-ons (e.g., event monitoring, field audit trail, platform encryption), even if not all are in use
Familiarity with secure integration patterns for Salesforce (APIs, connected apps, SSO, OAuth, SCIM/identity sync)
Knowledge of Salesforce development security practices (secure Apex, Lightning security, avoiding injection, etc., if code is in scope)

Location: 100% Remote PST (West Coast and local to Bay area is preferred)
