Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate team members to meet daily production schedules and quality standards
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and promote a culture of safe work practices
Monitor equipment performance and assist with setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate production data and ensure timely completion of required documentation
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members
Communicate department goals, KPIs, and improvement initiatives to the team
Support continuous improvement activities, including participation in Kaizen events and problem-solving efforts
Act as liaison between team members and Supervisor for operational issues
Maintain housekeeping standards and minimize scrap
Qualification
Required
High School degree or GED
Ability to communicate at all levels and with the ability to understand and communicate ideas both verbally and written
Ability to read and follow production schedules
Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
Basic mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to safety and quality standards
Must maintain regular and reliable attendance and be in good standing with the company, adhering to all policies and performance expectations
Preferred
Ability to speak, read, write in both English and Spanish
At least three months of related experience preferred
Familiar with the operation of production machinery
