The role involves the design, development, and deployment of Workday Extend applications, ensuring secure and scalable solutions that integrate with Workday's platform.

Responsibilities
Participate in the design, development, and deployment of Workday Extend applications and integrations
Deliver high-quality applications to our customers
Develop scalable Extend frameworks using PMD scripting, orchestrations, Studio, and custom components
Participate in design discussions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements
Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integrations and reporting
Stay informed on emerging Workday capabilities, SaaS trends, and technology design patterns to drive innovation
Contribute to internal communities of practice, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of Workday implementation experience, including at least 1-2 years hands-on with Workday Extend
Proven experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, API-first architecture)
Strong background in integration development (EIB, middleware, or custom APIs)
Familiarity with Workday business processes, HCM, Finance, or Supply Chain functional areas
Demonstrated ability to lead design sessions, manage stakeholders, and deliver technical solutions to production
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
Passion for building elegant, impactful solutions that solve real business problems
Preferred
Workday Extend Certification strongly preferred; Workday Studio, Orchestrate, HCM/FINs certifications are a plus
Consulting background and/or higher education, government, or enterprise SaaS experience is a plus
Prior experience with Built on Workday applications
Familiarity with Workday Orchestrate or Workday Prism Analytics
Start-up experience or a desire to help build something from the ground up
