Research Summer 2026 COACH College Program

Boston Children's Hospital is offering a paid College COACH summer internship program for undergraduate students interested in healthcare. Interns will engage in research activities, review materials, participate in workshops, and present their experiences at the end of the program.

Responsibilities

Engage in CABHRe research activities and offer an adolescent voice to our adolescent-focused research
Review research materials for comprehension, tone, appeal, assisting with preparation of documents, mailings, and presentations
Participate in quality improvement-focused mock sessions (e.g., counseling scenarios, recruitment scenarios)
Programming and testing technological tools (e.g., surveys, mobile applications)
Participating in teamwide learning activities (e.g., presentations from other researchers, discussions of scientific journal articles)
Delivering an end-of-program presentation to the research team about their internship experience
Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

Qualification

REDCapPublic speakingInterest in behavioral healthCommunication skillsAttention to detail

Required

You are an undergraduate college student in good academic standing and will be enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026, and you are interested in working in healthcare
Eager to learn, having strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Have careful attention to detail
Interest in substance use, mental health, or other adolescent behavioral health topics
