Allied Control Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Instrumentation and Controls Field Service Technician. The role involves providing calibration, startup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for process instrumentation and control equipment while traveling throughout the PA/NJ/NY/DE areas.

Responsibilities

Provide calibration, startup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of process instrumentation and control equipment
Travel throughout the PA/NJ/NY/DE areas
Work under minimal supervision to complete projects safely and efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy

Required

Valid Driver's license and High School Diploma
5+ years' experience with process instrumentation and controls
Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete projects safely and efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders and lift over 50 lbs
Proficient with windows PC and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

Completion of AAS in Technical Curriculum or Technical Trade School desired
Knowledge of process instrumentation, including flow, analytical instruments, temperature, pressure and level from a variety of manufacturers such as Siemens, Hach, Rosemount, Endress & Hauser, Honeywell, Foxboro, Siemens, ABB, etc
Experience with calibration and test equipment, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of process control equipment
Strong understanding of wiring schematics and field instrumentation wiring
Customer service skills with attention to detail and professional behavior
Understanding of PLC and HMI equipment desired but not required
