Mechanical Engineer I

Responsibilities
Supporting the development of new electro-mechanical products
Increasing the efficiency, costs, and durability of existing products
Collaborates with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and performance
Qualification
Required
Motivated self-starter with ability to work in fast-passed environment
Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated solid modeling skills
Ability to interpret customer specification and apply to design requirements
Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to contribute to design meetings with a focus on clear and constructive actions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of engineering documents such as drawings, test procedures, engineering change orders
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum appropriate experience (1-3 years) in relevant markets
Electro-Mechanical design experience a plus
Must be US Person or Permanent Resident
Preferred
SolidWorks preferred
Knowledge of sheet metal and machine parts design is preferred
Knowledge of software for stress, thermal analysis is preferred
Knowledge of GD&T to account for form, fit, function, and tolerancing stack-up is preferred
