Responsibilities
Executes RFx and supplier selection processes with cross-functional sourcing teams
Implements short- and long-term cost reduction strategies established by senior leaders and that are in compliance with the law and the organization's policies and procedures
Improves supplier service levels by integrating agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
Manages a cross-functional vendor review process that includes key business stakeholders to ensure a vendor is delivering expected value
Works in partnership with sourcing colleagues to negotiate or re-negotiate deals and contracts with suppliers including pricing and delivery schedules, while ensuring supplier risk management and compliance guidelines and protocols are followed
Partners with legal to draft contracts while keeping close contact with respective suppliers to ensure timely completion and execution of agreements
Qualification
Required
Experience in executing RFx and supplier selection processes with cross-functional sourcing teams
Ability to implement short- and long-term cost reduction strategies established by senior leaders
Knowledge of compliance with laws and organizational policies and procedures
Experience in improving supplier service levels by integrating agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ability to manage a cross-functional vendor review process with key business stakeholders
Experience in negotiating or re-negotiating deals and contracts with suppliers including pricing and delivery schedules
Knowledge of supplier risk management and compliance guidelines and protocols
Ability to partner with legal to draft contracts and ensure timely completion and execution of agreements
