They are seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Deputy Director of the Lawyers' Fund for Client Protection, responsible for overseeing legal matters, managing staff, and conducting outreach to the community.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the efficient investigation and processing of all victim claims assigned to the candidate as well as those assigned to the staff attorneys

Make recommendations to the Director about the appropriate causes of action and proper course to follow in subrogation suits

Represent the Fund in all forums for recovery of money paid to victims

Maintain institutional awareness to advise the Director in matters of law and policy regarding the operation of the Fund

Serve as the representative of the Fund in its interactions with the Bar and other associations and entities as appropriate

Address Fund related issues as appropriate in the absence of the Director

Supervise and address personnel issues as needed

Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies to inform the public and legal community of the Fund’s mission
