Broadcast Systems Manager
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Broadcast Systems Manager to oversee all B1G+ broadcasts and live streaming productions in HuskerVision. The role involves managing communication workflows, training students, and coordinating audio/video streaming across various platforms.

Responsibilities
Overseeing all B1G+ broadcasts and live streaming productions in HuskerVision
Manage the strategic operation and communication workflows, procedures, and broadcast standards on all HuskerVision live productions
Train and evaluate students on broadcast equipment and productions techniques
Maintain equipment and communicate with HuskerVision Engineers to ensure broadcast equipment and software is up to date and operating at a high level
Lead contact with BTN, UNL Journalism College, and communicate streaming/posting information to our multi-media rights partner
Coordinate and schedule all audio/video streaming on huskers.com, YouTube, and other social streaming outlets
Assist with the setup and engineering of live & recorded productions including camera and replay operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in broadcasting or related field
Three (3) years' experience in live production industry
Strong knowledge of live broadcast equipment and production techniques
Experience with overseeing and managing production crews
Working knowledge of Photoshop, web-based templates, other Adobe Creative Suite tools and video streaming products
Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required
Preferred
Experience with streaming broadcasts in various video formats
Experience scheduling and managing video production teams and broadcast equipment/operation training
Experience integrating RSS feeds, APIs, XML file formats and basic scripting knowledge
Previous experience with sports, concert, and entertainment arena highly preferred
