Opply is a rapidly growing VC-backed startup that automates the ingredient ordering process for SMB consumer goods brands. The role involves building industry relationships, exceeding sales targets, and collaborating with the Growth team to drive new business initiatives.

Responsibilities
Smashing targets, and building relationships in the industry
Work with the entire Growth team to set priorities and strategic direction for new business
Actively prospect and engage new brands using a variety of channels including (but not limited to) cold calling; email; LinkedIn; networking events
Conduct discovery Calls/demos with all outbound and inbound leads
Be a champion for our users and advocate for them, partnering with Marketing and Product teams to continuously improve the product
Collect and record feedback throughout the sales process, suggesting changes where you identify areas for improvement
Go above and beyond to be an Opply spokesperson, exceeding growth targets in line with achieving the overall business objectives
Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
Attend industry events to network, build contacts, and represent Opply in the best light
Qualification
Required
~2 years experience in Sales or Business Development ideally in a B2B role
Have consistently exceeded sales targets, and motivated by the close
You have shown a natural flair with customers, and ongoing over performance of targets
You are determined and scrappy. Things need to get done, you always find a way to make it happen. Even when the work is hard, you are relentless in delivering even with limited information and ambiguity
You naturally take ownership. You always stand up for what you believe is true and influence others to join you on the journey something is being done and finding ways to make the process easier, and more efficient
You are a natural creative problem-solver. You excel at identifying unintuitive solutions to tough problems
You're an empathetic and enabling team player who collaborates well with all teams, ideally in a fast paced business with high growth
Preferred
Experience or interest in the food/consumer goods industry with brands and suppliers preferred
