NEOGOV is seeking a Student for the Library System at the Santa Rosa County Library. The role involves providing routine assistance with maintaining library shelves and supporting library staff with various administrative tasks and patron assistance.

Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of administrative tasks including filing, sorting, laminating copying, printing

Assist library staff with various projects and daily tasks

Assist library patrons with locating library materials

Assist with library programs and meeting room set-up

Check and refill supplies (staples, paper clips, etc.)

Assist library patrons with technology (printing, using flash drives, etc.)

Maintain standard upkeep of library shelves and community areas including wiping down tables, shelves, computers, and computer accessories

May be asked to assist at circulation desk or answer phones when short staffed

Perform individually assigned duties

Read shelves to make sure materials are in the correct place and order

Restock paper in copiers and printers

Shelve books and other materials

Perform routine work pertinent to the subject area to which assigned

Performs related duties as required

Required

Full time enrollment in secondary school will be required for High School students with verification of enrollment letter

Enrollment in a minimum of three (3) semester hours

Verification of acceptance in an accredited college institution for employment as a college student

Enrollment towards a vocational certificate will be required for employment as a Vo-Tech student

Must be at least 16 years of age

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver's license may be required
