Responsibilities

Own the P&L and growth of 1–2 strategic accounts
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, COOs) and business sponsors
Drive up-sell / cross-sell conversations and secure multi-year deals
Qualify new opportunities and shape them with pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery teams
Own the preparation and defense of SOWs, RFPs, pricing models , and renewal terms
Report regularly on pipeline, forecast, and account performance to sales leadership
Work with Head of Sales on GTM for targeted account. Lead and support some new account acquisition activities
Act as the single point of accountability for service delivery across workstreams
Ensure successful execution through close alignment with delivery leads and project managers
Lead quarterly reviews and continuous improvement discussions with client
Manage risks, escalations, and SLA adherence with proactive governance
Champion a “no surprises” culture of transparency and responsiveness

Required

10–15 years of experience in IT services, consulting, or digital transformation
Proven experience managing strategic accounts in firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, or similar
Worked in start-up environment, wearing multiple hats and extremely hands-on
Strong delivery background with hands-on familiarity in SDLC, Agile, QA, and Cloud environments
Do not need to be performing hands on delivery, however, need to work with delivery team to unblock challenges as necessary
Able to navigate enterprise hierarchies, connect across business + IT, and influence decisions

Preferred

Experience working across banking, insurance, fintech, healthcare, lifescience or regulated industries
Prior exposure to offshore/nearshore delivery models and multi-vendor environments
