Senior Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful completion of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of commercial construction projects
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Develop full-scale project plans, timelines, and milestones
Manage project budget, schedule, and resources
Supervise and coordinate the activities of project teams, including subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Provide clear direction and support to ensure project goals are achieved
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met
Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders
Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project
Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Implement and enforce quality control measures
Oversee the safety program and ensure a safe working environment
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
Monitor project financial performance, including cost control and cash flow management
Approve project expenditures and manage contracts and change orders

Required

Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education commercial construction project management
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred

PMP or similar project management certification preferred
