The role involves managing multiple civil infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with various codes and standards, and serving as the primary liaison with clients and government agencies.

Responsibilities
Manage the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple roadway civil infrastructure projects, including road signs, signalization, and lighting systems
Monitor project costs, forecasts, and schedules to ensure alignment with budget targets
Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate phasing with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with federal, state, and local codes, as well as DOT specifications
Direct field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to meet quality, safety, and performance standards
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, engineers, inspectors, and government agencies
Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and all necessary documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Champion a safety-first culture on all job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols
Qualification
Required
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) required
5+ years of experience managing civil construction projects, preferably in roadway, signal, or lighting scopes required
Proven track record managing projects in the $1M $10M+ range
Strong knowledge of MUTCD, DOT standards, and municipal permitting
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management software
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Valid driver s license and ability to travel to active job sites as needed (Indianapolis and surrounding area)
Preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
