Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, and other departments to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to Workday security
Analysis & Recommendations: Analyze current security configurations and identify gaps or areas for improvement based on business needs and best practices
Collaboration: Work closely with the Workday Functional Expert to translate business requirements into technical specifications for security role design and configuration
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement specifications, process flows, and security design documents
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and facilitate UAT to ensure security configurations meet stakeholder expectations and requirements
Training & Support: Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders regarding security roles and access protocols, ensuring a clear understanding of security policies
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Workday updates and industry trends, contributing insights for enhancing security processes and configurations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of experience in designing and configuring role-based security in complex matrix organizations, with a strong understanding of Workday security principles
Workday experience required; certification preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within cross-functional teams
