Responsibilities

Performs Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) functions in accordance with established policies and contract requirements
Review contractor proposals to advise contracting officers of the technical adequacy of the proposals
Performs contract management functions such as preparing requests for contract modifications and delivery orders
Performs annual analysis of managed contract to ensure pricing and provisions are in consonance with current standards and practices of industry and of the agency
Manages contract databases to ensure data accuracy and availability, and presents reports/briefings on assigned service contracts

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
This is a drug testing position
Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as a condition of employment
Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500.7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation
The incumbent must complete initial qualification requirements to become a COR and maintains COR qualifications by satisfying regulatory training requirements
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Experience providing contract management functions, procurement processes, or resource planning, with the ability to translate organizational requirements into effective contract solutions OR experience supporting various stages of the contract lifecycle and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and alignment with program goals
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-12 grade level
