The Boeing Company is seeking a Product Security Engineering Manager to lead product security capabilities in support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role, the selected candidate will manage a team focused on incident response, vulnerability management, and security event detection for commercial airplanes.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance the enterprise OT Vulnerability Management Program to deploy OT aware scanning and patching tooling across targeted OT environments such as production equipment, facilities, and labs

Manage employees developing, implementing, and sustaining product security and resiliency throughout the product requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle

Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and set operational goals

Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management and lead process improvements

Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Manage, develop and motivate employees

Drive employee performance development, hiring, and staffing projections

Support external engagement, including interfacing with airline customers, government, and aviation industry

Flexibility to manage statement of work across North and South Puget Sound locations. Some travel required

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

3+ years experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, product security, network security and/or cybersecurity

3+ years of experience in leading or managing technical teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge in network security or cybersecurity

Knowledge of or experience in Airplane Systems

Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams

Experience in the aerospace industry

Project management experience

Experience working with airline customers, regulators and other stakeholders

5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity
