Senior Software Developer (Workday)
The University of York is embarking on a journey to transform their HR and Finance services by implementing a unified, cloud-based ERP system - Workday. The Senior Software Developer (Workday) will play a key role in developing and maintaining integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and improve integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems at the University
Work within the ERP Platform Team to provide configuration support for Workday
Develop new processes, workflows and reports
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of current software development practices (unit testing, continuous integration etc.)
Hands-on experience of Workday Studio, building and maintaining complex integrations
Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, Java, SQL, JSON
Experience of developing, deploying, scheduling reports
An understanding of agile software development models (Scrum, Kanban)
An ability to adapt to new languages, technologies and frameworks
Experience developing and supporting real-world IT systems in production

Experience of supporting a Workday platform, configuring Workday, supporting upgrades and changes
Experience of creating reports in Workday
