Aquatics Program Coordinator

They are seeking an Aquatics Program Coordinator to support all programs in the Aquatics department, ensuring service standards are met while coordinating events, managing registration, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

Support all programs across the Aquatics department
Work closely with professional staff to ensure Service Standards are met or exceeded
Support water aerobics and pool party programs
Assist with swim lesson coordination
Oversee boat rental operations
Organize lifeguard training logistics
Provide backup instruction as needed
Coordinate and operate special events
Assist with seasonal hiring
Manage registration software
Data entry
Inventory management
Fee collection
Customer service

Qualification

American Red Cross LifeguardingAmerican Red Cross Lifeguard InstructorWater Safety InstructorMicrosoft OfficeCustomer serviceData entryInventory managementOrganizational skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Age 18+
High diploma or GED
2 years of related administrative experience
Previous experience in Programming or Parks and Recreation
Confident and mature with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable providing high-quality customer service to a diverse population
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to manage complex documents, analyze information and prepare reports
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs, hear whistle alerts from 50 yards, see hand gestures from 25 yards
Current certifications in: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, Current or ability to obtain nationally recognized Water Safety Instructor certification

Preferred

Water aerobics instructor certification
Nationally recognized certification from a training agency in Aquatics or In-Water Exercise
2 years of related administrative experience
Previous experience in Programming or Parks and Recreation
