Responsibilities
Maintains desk stations, peripherals, system backups, and utilities and resolves system problems. Upgrades, monitors and tunes software as directed
Maintain the Intranet Help Desk functions (responding to logged error calls, charting and analyzing typical error or help situations, fulfilling the time and problem resolution commitments, i.e.: response on logged calls within 1 hour)
Maintains PC based software, assists in evaluation of new software, and upgrades current software and hardware as directed
Performs other MIS staffs functions as a backup during an emergency
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or three year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent knowledge of the WINDOWS XX OS environment
Excellent knowledge of the MS OFFICE product family
Experience setting up PC's for applications and troubleshooting skills to determine problems in PC's
