Responsibilities

Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules for geotechnical projects
Direct drilling programs, in-situ testing (SPT, CPT, DMT), instrumentation, and lab testing
Perform and review analyses for foundations, earth-retaining systems, slopes, and ground improvement
Prepare and seal geotechnical reports and recommendations
Monitor project financials and manage resources
Act as primary client contact; lead meetings and presentations
Provide construction-phase engineering support and troubleshooting
Mentor junior engineers and technicians; ensure QA/QC compliance

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical emphasis); M.S. preferred
PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
5-10+ years of geotechnical experience with proven project management
Proficiency in software such as gINT, PLAXIS, LPILE, SLIDE, SLOPE/W
Knowledge of IBC, AASHTO, FHWA, ASTM, and TxDOT specifications
Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred

Transportation, commercial, industrial, or energy sector projects
Design-build delivery and constructability reviews
Prior mentorship and team leadership experience
