Responsibilities
Architect and build scalable backend services supporting AI-driven automation
Develop high-performance APIs and data access layers
Create and optimise pipelines for logs, metrics, and event data
Integrate backend systems with AI models and decision engines
Improve performance, reliability, and efficiency across the stack
Work closely with cross-functional teams across backend, infrastructure, and AI
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction
Qualification
Required
3+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and container orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes)
Experience working with relational databases (Postgres) and large object storage systems
Comfort working in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
Preferred
Experience building systems involving automated reasoning, agents, or observability tooling
Background in large-scale or data-intensive backend systems
Exposure to AI or LLM-powered product environments
