Responsibilities

Maintain and operate an Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platform

Ensure all Linux and CentOS systems are patched, available, and meet current security requirements

Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code

Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies. Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services

Ensure necessary system security by using best-in-class cloud security solutions

Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company

Recommend process and architecture improvements

Troubleshoot system issues and solve problems across all platform and application domains

Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a company's services and products

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or 8 years of practical exp

AWS Cloud Experience (EC2, VPC's, IAM Roles, Security Groups, and associated Troubleshooting)

Solid understanding of how SSL Works in a AWS/Linux based environment

Risk Management Framework Experience (SCAP Scans, ACAS, System Hardening (STIG's), Documentation)

Scripting (Bash, Python)

Windows Server Administration

Extensive prior experience in CentOS and Linux server system administration

Experience with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSANet and PRIVAC authorities Experience with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g., SIMP, Puppet, Ansible, and CS2 Scripts)

Experience with deploying, operating and maintaining cloud-based Linux workloads

Experience with `infrastructure as code` IAC and using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Chef

Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) compliant and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes platforms
