Responsibilities

Perform system studies such as short circuit, arc flash, load flow, transient overvoltage, and harmonics utilizing PSSE, ETAP, EasyPower, PSCAD and other software packages

Help develop procedures for new study areas

Identify and support business development

Utilize python scripting for implementing efficient processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, ABET accredited program, or equivalent required

A minimum of 4 years of working experience, with at least 3 years of experience directly related to power systems

Independently completes assigned tasks required

Actively manages individual workload

Must be a self-starter and willing to identify improvements and implement them, utilizing support from others

Must be comfortable asking questions to team when learning new skills

Must be analytical, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients and external agencies

Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
