Business Development Manager - Events & Marketing

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to sell attendance and sponsorship packages for high-level, educational B2B conferences in the energy and infrastructure industries, guiding clients through the full sales process.
Responsibilities
Building and nurturing long-term relationships with attendees, sponsors, and partners
Conducting high-quality outbound telephone and virtual conversations to explain event value
Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, consultative selling, handling questions, and closing
Staying informed on industry trends to provide useful guidance to clients
Representing the organization at conferences across the U.S
Qualification
Required
Experience selling conference attendance or sponsorships
Background in educational conferences or events
Strong telephone-based, consultative sales skills
Ability to manage the full sales cycle
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Writes and speaks with ease
Self-motivated, persistent, and proactive
Strong relationship-building and follow-through
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Internet and social media savvy
Preferred
Experience selling conferences in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or related industries
Familiarity with conference models, attendee engagement, and sponsorship sales
