Responsibilities
Review and capture loan data from mortgage documents, including Mortgage, Note, Right of Rescission, Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, Good Faith Estimate, 1003, appraisal, etc
Review HUD-1, Closing Disclosures, Loan Estimates, TIL, and other mortgage disclosures for completeness and accuracy
Analyze and capture settlement fees for state and federal testing
Identify compliance irregularities within loan files and underwriting processes
Evaluate disclosure processes, including delivery, timing, required verbiage, execution, and completeness of all State and Federal documentation
Manage individual workflow to meet daily volume and quality goals
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in any area of the residential mortgage industry with familiarity in mortgage origination documents
1+ year of mortgage experience required
Experience reviewing notes, mortgages, applications, appraisals, titles, and closing documents
Strong understanding of fees and compliance requirements
TRID loan review experience (post-2015), including TRID documents and testing
Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends when needed
Preferred
1+ year of compliance review experience
Prior experience performing compliance reviews or working with competitors in similar roles
