Electrical Senior Scheduling Engineer Data Center
Spencer Ogden is seeking a highly motivated Scheduling Engineer with expertise in data center construction and electrical systems to join their team. The role involves developing and optimizing project schedules for critical electrical infrastructure while collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for electrical systems in data center construction, including UPS, switchgear, busways, transformers, and ATS
Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Operations teams to align schedules with project scope, milestones, and delivery requirements
Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and propose corrective actions to maintain on-time delivery
Coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of critical electrical equipment from procurement to installation, commissioning, and turnover
Implement and manage schedule control processes, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress tracking
Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and KPIs to project management and stakeholders
Support risk mitigation by identifying potential schedule conflicts, long-lead items, and procurement delays
Use ERP and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP) to ensure accurate forecasting, visibility, and reporting
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity across scheduling and project management systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in scheduling for data center or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects
Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) and ERP systems
Strong understanding of critical electrical systems (UPS, switchgear, busways, generators, transformers)
Experience in cross-functional coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
PMP or other project management certification
Experience with hyperscale or cloud data center projects
Familiarity with OFCI (Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed) equipment and logistics
Experience with lean construction or schedule optimization techniques
