Sales Manager / Director
Chemical Search International is supporting a growth-oriented technology company that provides chemistry-based solutions for the global oil and gas industry. They are seeking a Sales Manager / Director to drive business growth and manage key accounts in the oilfield chemicals sector.

Responsibilities
Drive global sales of the company’s performance chemical portfolio to the oilfield services industry
Identify and develop business opportunities across cementing, well stimulation, enhanced oil recovery and production enhancement segments
Work closely with the technical team to deliver solutions that match customer needs
Manage key accounts and deliver growth in line with the client’s strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in the oilfield chemicals market
Existing network in the oil & gas industry
Ability to build and maintain close relationships with key customers and other stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Comfortable interacting with senior technical and commercial stakeholders (operators, service companies, purchasing, etc.)
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and in team environments
Ability to cooperate internally with technical and product development colleagues to tailor chemical solutions, plan field trials and support product qualification processes
Practical knowledge of the application of specialty / performance chemicals in the oil and gas industry
Commercial experience in one or more of the following sub-sectors of oilfield chemistry: Reservoir Stimulation (hydraulic fracturing / acid stimulation), Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) with polymer chemistry, Production Enhancement (e.g. water shut off, conformance control, relative permeability modifiers), Cement Additives (e.g. fluid loss additives) for oilwell cementing
Experience of conducting business in the oil & gas market in the United States
High standard of spoken and written English language
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred
Technical education in chemistry, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering or a closely related technical discipline
