Responsibilities

Lead engineering and project management for assigned projects, coordinating across disciplines to achieve the most cost-effective solutions
Ensure all engineering work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets strict quality standards through rigorous review processes
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and change management protocols, providing regular updates to clients and internal leadership
Oversee the quality and execution of all engineering deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development through training and knowledge sharing
Develop and maintain strong, professional client relationships
Design and develop comprehensive electrical documentation, including scope definitions, specifications, data sheets, schematics (single line and three-line diagrams), wiring diagrams, and physical layout drawings for low to medium-voltage industrial power distribution systems
Specify and procure electrical equipment by preparing detailed purchase requisitions
Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and inspections for relay panels, Power Distribution Centers, and related equipment
Ensure all designs and practices comply with pertinent codes (NEC, etc.), governing regulations, and industry standards
Review project estimates to validate technical feasibility and product offerings

Required

Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher in Electrical Engineering
10+ years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering
5+ years of hands-on product knowledge with key components of Protection & Control Panels (e.g., SEL relays, Electroswitch equipment, test switches)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complex technical challenges
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, driving record check, and drug screening
Capable of occasionally lifting 50+ lbs and performing physical tasks related to inspections and testing
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (4+ hours at a time)

Preferred

5+ years of experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Substation Design Suite (SDS)
