Responsibilities

Perform a variety of challenging design engineering tasks, including preparing Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) to upgrade obsolete analog systems with state-of-the-art digital platforms
Conduct engineering calculations, develop design studies, and contribute to project scopes and cost estimates
Review technical documentation from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure hardware and software meet project requirements
Collaborate closely with project managers and clients, providing input for budget and schedule planning while participating in project meetings to ensure alignment and success
Interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant systems and components, bringing designs to life and gaining valuable field experience
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and team members through professional communication and quality engineering work

Required

Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
Available to start in the next 1-2 months
Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation of electrical calculations
Knowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platforms
Direct involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing
Working knowledge of the application of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and problem identification/resolution
Ability to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies
Completion of pre interview assessments
