Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality designs and deliverables on technically challenging projects
Managing projects, writing proposals, maintaining positive client relationships
Providing Engineering, Design work and drafting of plans
Implementing approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans
Sketching rough layouts to review with Project Engineer or Project Manager
Reviewing product cut sheets and technical information
Communicating with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems
Meeting with vendors to determine spatial requirements for the application of the product
Attending meetings as required
Submitting the required documentation per project deadlines and milestones
Attending in-house coordination meetings when appropriate
Developing a strategy to meet the projects’ schedule
Assisting in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)
Assisting the design team on major design issues
Organizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculations
Performing fieldwork and verification of existing conditions
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
PE License
10 - 15 years of related experience
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements
Professional conduct and presentation
Positive attitude, result-driven and team-oriented
Able to think three-dimensionally
Capable of visiting job sites to perform fieldwork
Detail orientated and deadline-driven
Strong working knowledge of Revit
