Responsibilities
Define and operationalize "good therapy": Establish clear, measurable standards for clinical practice, including client outcomes, session quality, and evidence-based approaches
Supervision & professional development: Provide supervision, case consultation, and coaching to enhance therapist skills and improve client outcomes
Clinical standards: Develop systems to monitor and maintain high-quality care across all therapists
Quality and Growth-Oriented Guidance: Make empathetic decisions that uphold clinical care while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
Performance and Outcomes Oversight: Review charts, track client progress, and evaluate therapist metrics to guide clinical improvements
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Active, unrestricted New York State clinical license (LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent)
Diagnostic Privilege (required)
Minimum 7 years post-licensure direct clinical experience
Minimum 2 years of direct experience providing clinical supervision
Proven experience leading and mentoring large clinical teams of therapists
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, clinical documentation standards, and ethical guidelines
Ability to make tough decisions and maintain accountability while fostering a growth-oriented culture
