Revenue growth strategy, commercial execution, and operational rigor
Customer acquisition, retention, and expansion within government and prime contractor ecosystems
Sales force effectiveness, channel strategy, pipeline discipline, and forecasting accuracy
Pricing strategy, contracting, and margin expansion levers
Talent strategy for sales leadership, incentive design, and succession
Attendance is expected at all scheduled quarterly meetings, with exceptions only for true conflicts
Committee participation may require additional meetings (virtual and occasional in-person)
Directors are expected to be accessible for periodic interim conversations with the CEO and board chair between meetings, particularly around commercial initiatives, key hires, and major customer opportunities

Required

Private Equity Operating Experience at Scale
Prior leadership experience in private equity–backed companies, ideally with familiarity across value creation plans, KPI-driven operating cadence, and sponsor expectations
Demonstrated experience operating at $400M+ revenue scale (or meaningfully comparable complexity), including multi-site, multi-product, or multi-channel go-to-market structures
Comfort working in environments with high accountability, tight timelines, and measurable outcomes
Senior Commercial Leadership in Aerospace and Defense
Former CEO or senior commercial executive such as Chief Sales Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Head of Sales, or equivalent
Meaningful experience in the aerospace and defense ecosystem, including government customer dynamics and/or selling through primes, integrators, or tiered supply chains
Strong command of complex sales cycles and account strategy
Capture planning and pipeline discipline
Contracting fundamentals (including compliance-aware selling)
Pricing, margin management, and revenue predictability
Sales compensation and incentive design aligned to growth and profitability
Boardroom Readiness
Prior board experience is preferred, especially in sponsor-backed settings
Ability to serve as an independent director who can both support and challenge management constructively
Sound governance mindset, high integrity, and strong communication skills
