Responsibilities
Set up and maintain client billing schedules in coordination with project managers
Draft and submit invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner
Receive, review, and record consultant, engineering, and vendor proposals and invoices to appropriate jobs
Track project costs and ensure alignment with budgets
Process payments upon receipt from clients and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity across projects
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed
Qualification
Required
3–10 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction industries
Familiarity with job cost accounting and project billing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred
Experience with Sage 50, QuickBooks, or Deltek is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not required. Industry experience is most critical
