Director of Services & Customer Success
Epiq Solutions is seeking a Director of Services and Customer Success to lead the creation, scaling, and performance of their clients services business. This role focuses on transforming service delivery and accelerating growth to achieve strategic revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Serve as the strategic and operational leader of our client's services function, reporting to executive leadership
Define and drive the services growth strategy through new and enhanced offerings
Lead the design, packaging, and launch of customer-facing services (e.g., customer support, software maintenance, integration support, lifecycle services, etc.)
Consolidate and rationalize existing service offerings for clarity, scale, and operational efficiency
Establish the end-to-end service offer lifecycle — including ideation, validation, pricing, launch, performance monitoring, and retirement
Build and lead a centralized services team (virtual, cross-functional) that incubates and transitions offers into line-of-business operations
Collaborate with portfolio managers, delivery leads, product teams, customer success, and integration engineers to ensure seamless execution
Define governance and service-level structures to support repeatability and quality assurance
Own key performance metrics related to service attach, delivery cost, customer success, and contribution to revenue
Champion cross-functional engagement and accountability in the execution of service strategies
Play a visible role in cultural transformation, instilling urgency, accountability, and customer-centric thinking within the services organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
10+ years in technology or defense industries with direct leadership roles in services strategy, offer management, or delivery
Proven track record in building or transforming a services function—ideally in maturity
Experience developing and commercializing new service offerings, including pricing models and go-to-market planning
Strong financial acumen; ability to model ROI and track service P&L or contribution margin
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and GTM teams
Executive presence and strong stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with shifting priorities
Willingness to travel up to 15%
We are not looking for someone with only a software/ SaaS background, the successful candidate will have experience on engineering products that include both hardware and software solutions
Preferred
Experience in a hardware/software hybrid business is a plus
