Conduct legal research on adoption laws, regulations, and relevant precedents
Draft, review, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Assist with case preparation, strategy, and ongoing case management
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to analyze and resolve complex legal issues
Stay current on changes in adoption and family law statutes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice law in Florida or willingness to become licensed
Prior experience in adoption law is a plus
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving and issue-spotting abilities
