Responsibilities
Design, Develop, and Implement Automated Performance Test Scripts: Create robust performance test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive coverage across all application features requiring performance evaluation
Analyze Test Results: Collaborate with developers and engineers to analyze results, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance application performance
Provide Technical Expertise: Guide performance testing processes and standards to ensure quality throughout the test development lifecycle
Maintain and Enhance Performance Automation Framework: Continuously improve and maintain existing frameworks and processes. Design and develop automation frameworks for load testing
Create Performance Test Plans: Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies to monitor and optimize application performance
Identify Performance Issues: Detect performance bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions
Participate in CI/CD Efforts: Integrate testing workflows into continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Document Testing Procedures: Maintain clear documentation of test cases, results, and performance testing protocols
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and clients to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of proven experience in automation testing, with strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and performance testing methodologies
Hands-on experience designing and developing automated test suites on Linux platforms using Python
Ability to diagnose performance issues (e.g., application speed, scalability)
Advanced Python programming proficiency
Linux OS experience (Rocky Linux 8.8 or higher preferred)
Load testing: design and develop automation scripts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience analyzing test results, identifying bugs, and resolving issues using tools like Jira
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
Experience with test automation tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, etc
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with Squish / Squish Coco
Experience with National Instruments (NI) PXI systems
Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
Experience in medical device testing is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
