Responsibilities
Analyze existing SAS code and workflows to identify migration opportunities
Design and implement migration strategies to convert SAS code to Python/PySpark
Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Document migration processes, methodologies, and results for future reference
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with SAS (Base and Advanced)
Proven experience in migration and transformation projects
Solid understanding of data science concepts and statistical techniques
Hands-on experience in training, tuning, and optimizing machine learning models using Python
Proficiency in Python for data engineering and data science, with strong knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
Advanced skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries
Strong experience in programming and optimizing PySpark for implementing data engineering solutions and models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a positive and proactive attitude
Strong documentation skills for technical processes and outcomes
Preferred
Familiarity with code accelerators/tools for migration
Experience with any major cloud platform (AWS or GCP preferred)
