Responsibilities
Own and develop the Germany–U.S. air and ocean trade lanes from a commercial and strategic perspective
Support sales teams with trade lane expertise, pricing input, and customer-facing solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with German agents, partners, and carrier contacts
Analyze market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitive positioning across the trade lane
Collaborate with pricing and procurement teams to structure competitive, margin-conscious solutions
Participate in customer meetings, RFQs, and strategic trade lane initiatives
Serve as the internal point of reference for Germany-related logistics opportunities
Qualification
Required
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Proven experience within international freight forwarding (air and/or ocean)
Strong understanding of Germany–U.S. trade lane dynamics
Commercial mindset with experience supporting sales, pricing, or trade development initiatives
Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and client-facing
Ability to work from one of the company's U.S. office locations
