Full Stack Web Developer

The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) is the union for professional basketball players in the NBA, dedicated to advancing the rights of its players. They are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications, contributing to the software development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern web technologies
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions, including Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations, data modeling, security, and workflow automation
Ship UI and API features in our stack including Vue JS, React Native, Node (TypeScript preferred)
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web development

Required

3 years of professional experience implementing and maintaining web applications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or completion of a reputable coding bootcamp in web development
Experience in Java or familiarity with Salesforce development tools such as Apex, LWC, and SOQL
Experience in our preferred tech stack: Vue / React Native / Node / TypeScript
Strong SQL and Python experience, Tableau Prep or Einstein Analytics a plus
Software knowledge including Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in LAMP, Azure and Docker environments, familiarity with SharePoint a plus
Experience working with Content Management Systems
Knowledge of website design best practices
Experience working with popular web analytics packages
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and principles

Preferred

Salesforce development depth: Hands-on experience owning Salesforce solutions end-to-end, including data modeling, Apex development and testing, integrations (REST/OAuth), security configuration, and deployment pipelines (Change Sets, DevOps Center, or CI/CD). Salesforce certifications a plus
Data & analytics: Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards, with the ability to translate business questions into scalable data models, queries, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with product team and cross-functional partners to translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions
